I recently switched to a new company down in
Morgan Hill. Their software of choice...SolidWorks. I
can go with the flow, so I have been using
SolidWorks now. I hope to pass on tips, tricks, and a
few things I find out as I go in this newsletter.
Hey, maybe I will even attend SolidWorks World come February down in the Big Easy. After all, I won't be attending AU this year. |

Most users won't notice - but the preview when you
create or edit a feature has been improved in R11.
The image above shows the new improved preview.

The dialog to create a detail view has been improved
in Inventor R11. You now can set the boundary type
(circle/rectangle) right from the dialog instead of the
previous right click shortcut.
Saves a mouse click and I am all for that! |
