Bail Me Out! |
|
|
|
|
Thanks to everyone who has donated funds to MDA
(Jerry's kids) to bail me out of my predicament. So
far, enough people have donated enough money to
send one deserving child to summer camp, but not
enough to get me out of lock-up.
I figured if each one of my subscribers donated $20 I
would more than make my bail. Is twenty bucks too
much to ask? Keep in mind that if I am stuck behind
that bar on October 27, I won't be able to put out
this ezine.

Dan's Little Test |
|
|
|
|
Last week I posted the test my son, Dan, sent me.
He is using it as a pre-interview while he searches for
a junior drafter for his company. More than 80
people downloaded the test...but the response in
terms of emails was...silence. I don't know if you
thought the test was too hard, too easy, or just right.
So, if you downloaded the test and tried it out, let
me know how you did...I promise not to print your
name.

Make a Box Quick! |
|
|
|
|
Last week I posted Jim Dee's routine which allows
you to polynize objects (including arcs!) with
deftness and ease. My routine is a little more
basic...ok, a lot more basic. Pick the four lines to
create your box (you can also window them, cross
them, fence, select them anyway you like.) All the
objects get converted, joined and given a width
of .04.
As always the code is open, so you can modify it to
change the standard width that is assigned.
